These services aid in diagnosing your health problem and monitoring your recovery. Most of the laboratory work is performed at the Student Health Service. Special tests are sent to referral labs. Basic x-rays are taken at Student Health Service. Charges for Lab and x-ray are kept at a reasonable rate. Interventional studies such as IVP, Ultrasounds, MRI's, and Mammograms are referred to Grand Forks Clinic or Altru Hospital. Students are responsible for charges made by referral agencies.

Speciality Laboratory Testing - There are certain laboratory tests which, because of their social implication, require the utmost degree of care and confidentiality. Tests for illicit drug use, HIV, alcohol, and pregnancy are done on providers' orders or upon your request. As with any other medical condition, all information is treated confidentially and not released without your consent.
