Student Health Promotion Team
 

The Student Health Promotion Office will help answer all your health and wellness questions in a caring, confidential and friendly atmosphere. The office is conveniently located on the main floor of the Memorial Union, near the internet café. Look for the Healthier U sign above the door.

Services include:

  • Free Self Care Station
  • Electronic blood pressure cuff
  • Digital medical scale to check height and weight
  • Links to credible on-line health information
  • Health risk appraisals
  • Disposable thermometers
  • Cold care kit
  • Condoms, dental dams and lube
  • Up-to-date, reliable on-line and print health information
  • Access to campus and community services
  • Quit tobacco kits
  • Materials and information for presentations and class projects
  • Facts, figures, and resources on a variety of health issues

Speakers, materials, outreach programs, and interactive games are available on a variety of health and wellness topics including:

  • Sexual Health
  • Body Image/Eating Disorders
  • Making Healthy Choices Easy Choices
  • Seven Dimensions of Wellness
  • Stress and Time Management
  • How to Stop Smoking
  • Cancer and other Disease Prevention
  • Winter Health and Safety
  • Access to Campus-wide Healthy UND Speakers Bureau
